Liverpool Produce Terminal
The acquisition of Liverpool Produce Terminal (LPT) by Fresca Group in 2010 gives the Group a strategic advantage in the retailer supply chain. In addition to our more traditional points of entry into the country for our products, LPT is a purpose-built fresh produce handling facility that provides unrivalled access to the retailer depots of the north from Britain's most central deep sea container port.
Close to an extensive motorway network and within a day's easy tachograph journey for drivers, LPT is a greener, more efficient solution than the traditional southern ports when it comes to servicing the northern estates of our retail customers. LPT helps us react quicker and provide a better service, and we look forward to helping facilitate new shipping routes to Liverpool from our sender countries as we build this side of our business further.
